Timeline: Just before he gets got by the Other, when they're about to descend upon Master Paine's Circus. (Just before: http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20061127#.Vu6phhIrJjV )
Items with character at canon point:
One handed sword (Saber), long, very well made, face on the bell guard, matches his expression.

His house crest at his neck. This will be important in game, because he will work to have it replicated.
In his great coat:
Agatha's sigil in a black box with the Heterodyne crest. There are mechanics in the locket that he has not yet explored that are shown in canon to have the ability (before it broke) to block Agatha's Spark, and after it breaks (where it is now) to block the mind control her mother has over her. Effects on other people, as it was made for Agatha) may vary. For a number of reasons, he has never worn this.
Various smaller blades.
the rest is based on what we have seen of him previously, so it is believable he would have it with him, but not specified in canon:
C-Gas bombs/C-gas gun. (C-gas is a gas that knocks people out when they inhale it, dissipates rapidly, takes anywhere from 1-3 hours to wear off. (We see him use this in Beetlesburg, and he was expecting much less of a fight there.)
Gas mask. Because of c-gas.
Grappling hook gun
Tools.
Hand held death ray
Small field medical kit.
Keys
clean handkerchief
small notebook and pencil
firestarter
whistles and/or flares for communicating with the troops personally (rather than finding a drummer)
hand-mirror for signaling ships.

One thing said about Sparks in canon: "In my experience a strong Heterodyne (one of the most well known Spark families) will take about two hours to truly warp the laws of nature"
Klaus is a rather strong Spark. He has the madness, the intuitiveness, the intelligence, the megalomania, the drive, the focus... but he seems to better manage it than most. He generally focuses on studying the work of other Sparks, rather than creating his own, but it is clear that he CAN.
